Superb service. Came here for happy hour. Great attention to detail. Great selection. So fresh. Fries I can pass but needed some carbs with all the oysters we demolished!

I can't say enough good things about Fanny Bay! The oysters are almost overwhelming in options, but the staff were amazing in navigating us through! By far the most amazing oysters I can recall. But, everything else is just as great! We loved the lobster poutine, and the calamari was devine. This has to be on your list for Vancouver!

We were staying at the Douglas Hotel close by and walked here. They have great daily happy hour specials until 6 pm, even on weekends. We sat at the bar and received great service. We had oysters, crab and artichoke dip, mussels and clams with truffle fries, a side of scallops, and the tacos and wine. Everything was very good. It was fun to watch them shucking oysters! Would recommend!

Wonderful first experience trying oysters. We were seated right at the bar, and were able to watch the oysters getting shucked. Tyler was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The oysters tasted very fresh and not fishy at all. They came with tabasco, lemon, horseradish, and some kind of vinegar sauce. The happy hour oysters had a few varieties, and it was nice to try different combinations.

Consistently the best quality and selection of oysters you can find in the city. They often have my favourite oyster available (fat bastards). I like to ask if they have 5 large oysters available! The shooters also taste great and are a good deal. Seems like they might be a bit understaffed at times as the service staff are quite busy, but they do a good job.

Some of the best seafood I’ve had in a long time. Everything tasted delicious and highlight was the oysters. They had that salty ocean taste but at the same time didn’t taste fishy. We also ordered the lobster gnocchi, tuna tartare and octopus which were all amazing dishes. Fanny Bay Oysters does a great job of service and has cool photos from the British Colombia area to give it that awesome seafood restaurant feel. Certainly a great place for any seafood and oyster fan!

This is an excellent spot with a cool industrial vibe and a top-notch oyster bar. I came during happy hour and had some of the best oysters—reasonably priced and incredibly fresh. Most of the oysters are from British Columbia, but they also offer selections from the East Coast, along with a variety of other shellfish. I sat at the bar, and the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive and made sure everything was perfect the entire time. If you’re into oysters and seafood, this is definitely the place to visit in Vancouver. I highly recommend it—100% worth it!

We started off with oysters which were fresh and good. We tried their large oysters which is worth the money 5. We shared a fried rice dish which was tasty. We shared the tasty NY cheesecake and chocolate mousse The waitress was attentive. The restaurant had a great vibe. They had merchandise for sale. We got a Fanny Bay Oysters black hoodie which looks nice.
